Who We Are

Nuvilo World is operated by Nuvilo World Studios Limited. Our registered office is at 12 Queen Street, Auckland 1010. You can reach us at support@nuviloworld.com. We are the data controller for the personal information we collect when you use nuviloworld.com.

What We Collect

We collect very little personal data because Nuvilo World requires no account. The information we may process includes:

Usage data — pages visited, game interactions, browser type, device type, and approximate country. Collected anonymously via Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies required for this service).
Cookies and local storage — a consent preference flag (__cc_v1) and an age-gate flag (__age_ok) stored in your browser. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and message when you voluntarily submit a support request via our Contact page.
Log data — Cloudflare's edge network logs IP addresses briefly for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are retained for a maximum of 24 hours.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only to operate and improve Nuvilo World:

To serve the website reliably and securely (legitimate interest).
To understand how visitors navigate the site so we can improve game performance and layout (consent-based analytics).
To respond to support enquiries you send us (contract / legitimate interest).
To comply with applicable law, including the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, sell data to third parties, or run any marketing programmes without explicit consent.

Lawful Basis (Privacy Act 2020)

We process personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) it contains. Specifically, we collect information only for a lawful purpose directly related to operating this service (IPP 1), retain data no longer than necessary (IPP 9), and allow you to access and correct your information on request (IPPs 6 and 7).

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, under contractual confidentiality obligations:

Cloudflare, Inc. — CDN, DDoS protection, and anonymised web analytics. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Email / hosting provider — support emails sent to us are delivered through our email host.

Retention

Contact form data is retained for up to 12 months and then deleted. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 30 days. Browser-stored preference flags persist until you clear them or withdraw consent via the cookie banner.

Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. You may also request deletion where retention is no longer necessary. To exercise these rights, email support@nuviloworld.com. We will respond within 20 working days.

Changes to This Policy
